Church Meeting

The Church Members' Meeting is an important part of the life of the church, and covers many areas including worship, young people's work, administration, appointments, mission and other activities.  At the meeting members try to prayerfully determine God's will for the church.  They are held every other month, usually on the forth Thursday in the month. (The Deacons normally meet once a month, on the second Thursday of the month.)

The meeting begins with prayer and a reading from the Bible, so that in both spiritual and practical matters we are seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The normal way of becoming a member is following Believer's Baptism or by transfer of Membership from another church.  The church has Open Membership, which means that the Church Members Meeting may also accept for full membership people who have an equivalent standing to Believers Baptism, such as confirmation.

Church regulars with an account can find the minutes for past meeting by going to the ‘Regulars Area’.

Church AGM Meeting - To be held at MBC and on Zoom

At the short AGM we will be electing new deacons and the church officers. The meeting has to be in person (due to the constitution) so it will be socially distances in the main church and broadcast on Zoom. Postal votes are allowed and encouraged if you can not attend in person. We will also be approving the budget for 2021.

The date of the next church meeting is:

6th December

The meeting starts at 11:30am on Zoom
