What’s On

As well as Sunday worship we have a variety of other activities.  House groups and Church Meetings are very important.  Sometimes we meet up with other churches in Malvern, in particular on Good Friday.

We also enjoy meeting together for lunch - there are eight Church Lunches a year on Sundays and Tuesdays. From time to time we enjoy a social evening or concert together. We regularly have movie nights with a meal and a thought provoking film to discuss.

Church Text 2020

The church motto text for 2020 is: 1 Chronicles 16:11

“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.”

The church building is now closed for congregational worship on Sundays until 6th December.

If you only have a landline phone then you can connect to the zoom meetings with the following procedure.

● At the meeting times on the Home page telephone:  02034 815 240

● Enter the meeting ID:  329 961 4189,   then  enter  #

This will connect you to the meeting.  This is a London number so it will cost you whatever you pay for a national call (on many phone plans national calls are free for the first 60 mins).

Home Groups w/c Mon 23rd Nov

Our Home Groups have gone virtual. Contact a Home Group leader or our minister to get details of how to take part or if you want to join a group.

Tuesday Lunches

The Tuesday lunches have also stopped for the time being.

Coffee Stop - Wednesday’s

The church drop-in coffee morning on Weds 10am-12 noon has stopped until further notice due to the Corona Virus.

Coffee and Craft Group - Thursday’s

The Coffee and Crafts Group has also stopped for the time being.

MBC Ramble on the Hills

Unfortunately our weekly group rambles won’t be able to take place until the latest lockdown is eased, currently early December. Stay fit and healthy in the meantime and I will let you know as soon as we are allowed to meet up again.

Churches Together in Malvern - Praying for:

Christ Church, Avenue Road

The Ven. Robert Jones, Canon Harold Goddard. The opportunities for outreach through the regular Book Fairs. The developing links with Malvern Parish School and Malvern St James School. Cultural outreach through music and the arts; link with Malvern Civic Week.

Christmas Choir

We are seeking to form a small socially distanced choir to sing carols in the church. If you would like to be part of this please let Dave know.

Nativity Play

There may not be a pantomime this year but there will be a Nativity play of some sort, but only if you are willing to take part. We don’t know if we will be allowed to have a service in church but we can do all things through him who gives us strength, so if you would like to take part whether from home on Zoom, or in person in church, or via video please let me know. Family/household groups of actors might be particularly useful. Thank you. Alison Ayling
